Discovery Trails Geology Program is a fun and interactive way to be motivated into the study of geology. All grades love the DDC classroom study and the fieldtrip to Calico led by Larry Monroe, retired BLM geologist. His understanding of kids coupled with his impressive knowledge of geology gives the program the edge.
Rangers and other educators assist Larry Monroe with the geology lesson so all questions will be answered.
Priority is given to making sure that there is enough time for the personal touch. This is what makes this program so effective.
The kids recieve a new found understanding of our earth and a motivation that will encourage them in the years to come. This why we are successful in all our programs!
