JR. NATURALIST EDUCATOR PROGRAM

Exciting Teacher Opportunity
Who: Volunteers or Students interested in teaching environmental education
What: A 30-hour teacher training workshop on the various Jr. Naturalist lesson plans
When: April 23-27, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Where: Desert Discovery Center, 831 Barstow Rd., Barstow, CA
Why: To establish a core group of teachers that can deliver the Jr. Naturalist lessons to visiting school children
Upon completion of the training, participants will be eligible for a $50.00 teacher stipend each day they teach.
